Dalton Hicks

Service Manager

As a Service Manager at Grooms Office Environments, Dalton is responsible for scheduling, helping bid jobs, and assisting in running the service department. He originally joined Grooms in 2014 working as an Installer for around 5 years but decided to move to Denver to work in the commercial disaster restoration field for over 2 years at Interstate Restoration. While working at Interstate, he also owned and operated a handyman company doing everything from carpentry to landscaping. Fortunately, he decided he wanted to move back to Springfield and rejoined our company as a Project Manager.

Dalton enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering at organizations including Red Racks, the Humane Society, and Ozarks Food Harvest. He also spent time in Joplin after the catastrophic tornado aiding in the clean up efforts.

He also loves spending time with family including his two little boys playing catch, basketball, puzzles, board games, and reading. You can also find him outside at his grill creating new dishes to try out.

What inspires you?

“I'm inspired by my coworkers and customers I get to work with at Grooms.  The people that surround me make it easy to keep moving along to help everyone succeed. The leadership in place at Grooms also creates inspiration.  Knowing we have the tools and resources to get the job done is very inspiring, and truly helps to get everything done. I also find inspiration in providing for my family, knowing the decisions I make directly impact their lives.”
