Legacy Bank & Trust Headquarters

Legacy Bank worked alongside architecture firm Butler Rosenbury & Partners and interior design and furniture dealership Grooms Office Environments to develop the new Legacy Bank headquarters on East Sunshine Street. To create a timeless design, Grooms selected all interior finishes include paint colors, finishes and lighting that combined a clean look paired with natural materials. During our initial design phase, we talked in depth to uncover how Legacy wanted new and existing clients to feel as they entered the building, and how their employees should feel proud, comfortable and productive in all areas of their new office. They always looked to make sure their staff was proud and took ownership of their space and truly wanted to give back to them with this new building. As well as finishes, Grooms specified and provided all furnishings and worked alongside the Springfield Regional Arts Council to commission local artists for all artwork collections on display. We are truly excited to add this to the Springfield landscape.

TierOne Offices

We're excited to show off the new TierOne office space here in Springfield, Missouri. Working with this company that provides network and data solutions we spent time to determine their unique needs and outfit their space to reflect their culture. We had a beautiful interior space designed by Insite to work with, allowing us to specify forward-thinking furniture pieces specific to their personal style. It was very exciting to see their vision and project come to life!

Mid-Missouri Bank Headquarters

Mid-Missouri Bank opened its 13th retail facility and headquarters in October 2020. This new building reflects the bank’s passion for modern technological advantages and a second-to-none retail experience. Buxton Kubik Dodd Creative completed the Architecture, Interior Design and furniture specifications for this project and worked to highlight the bank’s passion for energy efficiency and modern design along with encouraging communication and collaboration between their employees and the patrons with their staff. The lobby showcases Logiflex desking and the ‘back of house’ work areas are in the Herman Miller Vista line which Grooms worked to develop the design alongside BKDC’s designers and the bank’s president. We are happy to have a beautifully designed space within our community!

Associated Electric Cooperative Inc.

The Third Floor Infill for Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. (AECI) was a project we were very happy to be a part of. For 60 years, Associated Electric has provided reliable, wholesale power generation and high-voltage transmission to our six transmission co-op member-owners. With a vision and passion to make the space a turning point of design and function for the Information Services team, this previous shell space really came to life. With the project completing in May 2020, AECI filled the need to combine a department that was previously spaced out among floors for a more productive, functional, and complete floor space plan. Working alongside the Architect and Design team at Sapp Design and AECI for the discovery phase and space planning for this project, was rewarding in itself. Rooney McBride & Smith

Working with Rooney McBride & Smith has been such a pleasure. Rooney McBride & Smith is a team of attorneys and legal professionals practicing excellence primarily in Southwest Missouri in the areas of bankruptcy, business law, creditors’ rights, estate planning, family law, personal injury, real estate, traffic law, and more. We were able to walk alongside them in their journey and explore unique furniture options for their new space. The material and finish selections that were chosen by Arkifex and Rooney McBride & Smith were a dream to work with. Interior design dreams were made as we meticulously chose fabrics and Herman Miller classics that represented their individual personalities as well as the firms. Look at those beautiful conference room chairs!

Volt Credit Union

Volt Credit Union, previously known as Community Financial Credit Union, took a stand mid-2018 in becoming “not your average bank”. Through rebranding, a new color scheme and a new building on the South side, they are changing the way you bank. Starting April 2019, they are officially open for business and ready to serve the community. Central Bank - West Sunshine Location

This new Central Bank location was completed in late 2018 in Springfield, MO. Central Bank has more than 140 locations across the Midwest. All interior finishes and furniture specification completed and installed by Grooms Office Environments in partnership with Sam Winn Architects.

Legacy Bank

The administrative offices for Legacy Bank completed in early 2019. Since Legacy Bank and Trust opened in 1907, it has been committed to providing the best in banking for citizens looking for a trusted local partner. Software Company

Guaranty Bank - Farmers Park Location

Completed in early 2018, Guaranty Bank new headquarters building forges a new way of banking. The building design and architecture were completed by LEVEL5 LLC and Praxis3 out of Atlanta. Andy's Frozen Custard Headquarters

Andy’s Frozen Custard is a staple in Springfield, MO (and a favorite of the Grooms employees). So, when Andy approached us to help furnish his new home office alongside Hufft Architectures we were excited to do so. The historic renovation of a downtown building, and the selected modern furniture turned out wonderful. Grooms is happy to have been a part of this project! Andy's Frozen Custard is a chain of United States frozen custard stores with over 85 locations in 14 states. The first Andy’s stand was opened in 1932 in Osage Beach, Missouri, and the company’s headquarters are located in Springfield, MO.

Intuitive Web Solutions

Grooms has had the pleasure of working with Intuitive Web Solutions, also known as BriteCore, since they furnished their original office space on Olive Street in downtown Springfield. They came to us looking for two office desks and ended up expanding their office space so quickly it was hard to keep up. Once they saw what Herman Miller Resolve could do with their space by offering a look that was as innovative as the insurance software they provide to their clients, there was no looking back for the space that we were able to create with their open mind and willingness to try a system furniture that was fairly new to the industry. Open office environments play a vital role in the communication in the office space, this allows employees to be able to work together more efficiently. Being able to work with clients that have a vision to create a space for their employees to be able to function in an open office environment is a great privilege.

HEALTHCAREfirst

Grooms Office Environments worked with the team at HEALTHCAREfirst to create a bright and welcoming space in their office in Springfield, MO. The mission of HEALTHCAREfirst is to deliver innovative, easy-to-use, and affordable solutions for home health and hospice agencies.

Prime Inc. Headquarters

Grooms Office Environments recently completed a large project with the largest refrigerated trucking carrier in North America, Prime Inc. The Prime Inc. headquarters in Springfield, MO houses the majority of the company’s employees and experiences a high volume of walk-through traffic from drivers and employees 24/7. Trucking never stops and either can these offices so we worked hard to create an open and bright atmosphere which promotes communication and innovation. Prime has continued to see large growth and built a new building to accomodate the need for more office space. Featured in their new “Z Building” are the ergonomic Herman Miller Embody chairs and sit-to-stand desks to facilitate the option for movement during the employee workday.
